Year 4 13.6.25

In my cover lesson, Year 4 took me down to the Forest School area to show me around and make natural faces from materials they could find; leaves, pine cones, soil, leaves and twigs. In beautiful surroundings and fresh air they did a brilliant job of making human faces and even a dog with a kennel. Well done! Katie Seecharan

History

In History this week, Year 4 have been learning about the differences between life in Athens and Sparta.  Based on these facts they had to  decide whether they would choose to be an Athenian or Spartan.  We finished with a debate, where the Spartans tried to persuade the Athenians to join them and vice versa.  The Spartans won! Year 4 Team

Science

We have been learning about the greenhouse effect in Science this week, and the impact it is having both locally and around the world.  We carried out an investigation, where the children imitated a greenhouse to observe how the temperature was impacted.
