Reception 23.5.25

RSS have had a wonderful week continuing to learn about the hungry caterpillar and butterflies. Making symmetrical butterfly wings was the challenge of the week which the children rose to admirably. We watched in amazement when the butterflies came out of their cocoons and we set them free. We are made lovely fruit kebabs and tasted exotic fruits. We have been keeping a close eye on how our sunflowers are growing and measuring their progress carefully. We welcomed the parents into RSS on Thursday for our Open classroom and  there was a definite buzz in the class while they shared their learning. Sheilagh Schweitzer
