Porridge

Year 3 and 4 recently wowed audiences with their fantastic performance of the musical Porridge! When a crime wave hits Happy Valley, it’s up to Private Detective Jack Spratt to crack the case. With Ma Hubbard’s recipe book stolen, Marigold the cow kidnapped, and Papa Bear hiding a suspicious secret behind his porridge empire, the mystery kept everyone on the edge of their seats!

Joined by Goldie Lox and a host of delightfully zany characters — from barmy billy goats and loopy lumberjacks to a rather potty police squad — the cast brought this side-splitting fairy tale mash-up to life in a way that had audiences laughing from start to finish.

Porridge served up everything a great show needs: catchy songs, outrageous comedy, and a generous helping of fun. The energy, enthusiasm, and talent on display were simply incredible, and it was clear that the whole cast had an amazing time on stage.

A huge well done to all involved — you were absolutely brilliant. True stars of the future! Adam Brackenborough
