Year 3 9.5.25

Trip to the Assembly Hall

Year 3 went to see the launch of Stephen Mangan’s and Anita Mangan’s new book ‘The Fart that Saved the Universe,’ at the Assembly Hall on Thursday, as part of the Tunbridge Well Literary Festival. They found out about the inspiration for the book and had a go at drawing one of the characters. Anita explained how she takes photos of herself acting out the character’s poses and they played a word game to demonstrate how one might come up with a story. It was a lot of fun. The book is now available to borrow from the library. Catherine Duncumb
