Nigeria Day
Inspired by Rebecca, Tavonga, Temi, and Mayra, everyone was invited to learn about and celebrate the rich and diverse culture of Nigeria in the Learning Hub on Wednesday, as part of our cultural days series. Activities included a quiz, language tellers for learning Igbo, Yoruba and Sannu, Benu style mask making, fashion design inspired by Nigerian textiles, colouring and a picture trail. Thank you too to Tomiwa, Aaron and Pelumi who spoke in assembly and also contributed some wonderful artefacts; clothes, books, musical instruments, food and textiles. The event led to interesting questions, discussions and a lot of learning. Thank you everyone for sharing your knowledge and helping us deepen our understanding.
