The children have been enjoying learning about perimeter this week. They started their learning by building some simple shapes from cubes and calculating their perimeters. Then the children decided to find the perimeters of letters from their names! Miss BrooksÂ
This week in English we have been looking at the well-known quote about ugly thoughts in the Mrs Twit chapter. The children have given each other compliments and reflected on these and how they make them feel. They have then thought about the things that make them happy. Together 4H have written a good thoughts poem. Year 2 gave a wonderful assembly this morning on one of our school values, Kindness. The children had thought carefully about what kindness looks like and how they can show kindness during their every day. They spoke confidently and clearly and finished with this wonderful song. Well done 2KM!
