Celebrating Animals and Books

RSS have been embracing their topics of animals and books this term so far, celebrating World book day yesterday with amazing book characters. Julia Donaldson books were a firm favourite. This week, we have focussed on story settings and telling stories using their own stick puppets and wonderful imagination. In forest school they children have enjoyed the new giant teepee, a lovely reprieve  and shelter from all the mud. The children have enjoyed the freedom of not having to wear coats outside with the milder weather this week – here’s to the beginning of spring. Sheilagh Schweitzer
