Year 7 have been learning how to conjugate verbs in the passe compose this week. They had to write parts of the sentence, hide it and pass it on to their partner for them to add another part of the sentence. We had some interesting ones! The Year 7 Dragon’s Den entrepreneurs Divit, Megan, Bella, Nolan and Sophia are designing a dog coat for Monty in the Prep Prep. They visited the pupils last week and they all loved the dog who was very patient! Their theme is Super dogs and Sophia is hoping to make a trial outfit for Monty to try on. They are hoping that the pupils will love dressing Monty up – fingers crossed! Katie Seecharan

A massive well done to Art Scholar and Head Girl, Megan, for gaining an Art & Design Scholarship to Benenden School and an Art Exhibition to Kent College.
Mr Johnson, Head of Art, said "Megan has consistently been a highly dedicated and conscientious Art Scholar, demonstrating great perseverance and effort in her art projects over the past few years and being a great role model to younger pupils. She has developed impressive skills with multi-media pieces, including painting and digital design, as well ceramic work."

Year 4 had a wonderful trip to Knole House to consolidate their learning on the Tudors. The children immersed themselves in a range of hands‑on experiences such as exploring genuine Tudor artefacts, discovering local wildlife, calculating the age of ancient trees and even trying on Tudor costumes.
Touring the magnificent Knole House was a great way to bring the Tudor period to life, providing a valuable extension to their learning beyond the classroom.
It was a thoroughly educational and informative day, and our pupils represented the school with great interest throughout.
