Year 6 28.2.25

French

Year 6 have been working on the topic of sports and activities. They have been learning how to conjugate “faire” and “jouer” and what prepositions go after the verb. Today they have used the Activ Remotes to correctly identify which verb was needed and whether the sentences were written accurately or not. A great way to practise what we have learnt! Madame Simpson

I Belong Enrichment Morning

On Tuesday a group of Year 6 girls attended the inspiring I Belong workshop at SKA, hosted by the National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE). The event aimed to encourage young women to explore careers in tech. Our girls got hands-on with coding, using micro:bits and NeoPixel LED lights to create fun displays – even using the micro:bit’s accelerometer to make the lights flash with a shake!

It was an exciting opportunity to combine creativity with coding and hear from women leading the way in computing. James Murray
