Music 7.2.25

Good Morning Performing

Thursday morning’s concert featured a wonderful selection of performers from across the year groups. It was fantastic to see first-time performer Charlotte (Year 2) confidently play London’s Burning from memory on the piano, followed by Louis (Year 5) with a beautiful rendition of Song of Erin, also from memory. Maisie (Year 8) impressed with Catwalk on the flute, while Mayra captivated the audience with a dramatic and skillful performance of I Know Things Now from Into the Woods. Just when we thought the concert had ended, Joshua (Year 7) and India (Year 4) delighted us with two final performances—Joshua sang Music and Me by Michael Jackson while playing the guitar, and India delighted us with Let’s Go Fly a Kite. Well done to all. Lydia Carter
