Thank you to all our Year 7s who showcased their work so brilliantly at the Information evening on Thursday!
Some of our Year 7 and 8 mathematicians took on the challenge of the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge. This is a national challenge for pupils under 16 and the children worked brilliantly with these challenging questions. Alison Tripp
Entrepreneurial Day with The Apprentice`s Kathryn Burn
Our Year 8 pupils had an inspiring day with @kathrynlouiseburn, finalist from The Apprentice 2022.
First of all she spoke of her journey from education through to working, then to being on The Apprentice and setting up her own business. She offered her advice to the children who may be thinking of following a similar pathway.
Following on from this, they were set a challenge, to come up with a brand-new tech innovation that could make everyday life better. Working in teams, they developed creative ideas, crafted brand identities, designed logos, and produced short commercials to bring their concepts to life.
They then presented their pitches to Kathryn, who put their ideas to the test with some sharp business questions.
Huge thanks to Kathryn for giving our pupils a real taste of entrepreneurship and a sneak peek into the high-stakes world of The Apprentice.

We are delighted to introduce Megan and Rafferty as the upcoming Head Girl and Boy for the academic year 2025-26. They will be brilliantly supported by their team of Deputies; Ralph, Ruben, Zachary, Iris and Charlotte.
The group will be great Ambassadors for Holmewood, following in the footsteps of Madeleine, Joseph, and their Deputies who have made an outstanding contribution to the school over the past year. We thank them for all their hard work, and look forward to seeing our new leaders flourish in their roles.

🎉Esports Triumph for Holmewood House School 🏆
On Monday, our talented team of 8 boys represented the school in Windlesham House School's first-ever Esports competition, battling it out in Rocket League and Minecraft Capture the Flag.
It was a fantastic day, filled with energy, teamwork, and great sportsmanship. A massive thank you to Andrew Calas and the @windleshamhouse team for organising and hosting us so brilliantly. Also, huge credit to the Windlesham House boys for creating the Capture the Flag world and making for an exciting and memorable gaming experience!
We’re thrilled to share that both our teams emerged victorious! This marks another milestone in our growing list of achievements. The boys were fantastic ambassadors for the school, showcasing not just skill but exemplary behaviour.
GG to the team, and here’s to many more successful competitions! 🙌
