Year 3 had a wonderful visit from Zichen’s mum, Jing Wei, who shared the traditions and stories behind Chinese New Year. She explained the significance of the Year of the Snake, its connection to wealth in the horoscope, and how red and gold are symbols of good luck. The children enjoyed receiving their own Year of the Snake symbol, lucky red envelopes (Hongbao), and fortune cookies (Niangao), making it a memorable and meaningful celebration. Year 3 Team
Our U10s joined 10 other top rugby-playing prep schools at Tonbridge this week for the annual Rugby Festival.
The mud and cold, torrential conditions did not dampen spirits and it was a great afternoon with the boys improving throughout the tournament and showing great resilience in some tough conditions.
