Holocaust Memorial Day 2025
Yesterday, on Holocaust Memorial Day 2025, our Year 8 pupils attended a live webcast in the theatre, hosted by the Holocaust Educational Trust.
They had the privilege of hearing Holocaust survivor Hedi Argent MBE share her personal testimony—a powerful and memorable story that provided a deeply moving and invaluable learning experience for all who attended.
Marking the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, the pupils learned many important lessons. Hopefully, if just one message was taken away by our children, it was hearing Hedi talk about the power of a small act of kindness—and that we should all strive to live by this.
