Year 4 29.11.24

Art

Working in their sketchbooks, the Year 4 children have been creating Aboriginal ‘Dreamtime’ pictures. Whilst listening to Dreamtime stories they sketched their scenes and have started to build up the dots using sticks to create and authentic Aboriginal look. Tom Johnson / Keith Siddle

Maths

Year 4 have been working hard practising and using their times tables recently. Today, some of the Year 4’s had a go at solving a problem using shapes and various times table sums. The vocabulary and reasoning skills being used were excellent as they took their time to solve the puzzle in groups. With persistence and perseverance, they worked it out and as Cara said, “team work makes the dream work”!  Mrs Gorin
