Year 2 29.11.24

2CT

This week, we stepped into the role of journalists, planning and writing newspaper articles about the devastating fire that swept through London. We have also been continuing with Christmas craft activities, working together to design a beautifully decorated classroom door. Catherine Thorley

Forest School was rather muddy this week and they had lots of fun digging in the dirty.  They loved jumping in the puddles and playing farms.  They returned to school with smiles and mud splattered faces.
English and Topic has all about writing a Newspaper report about the Great Fire of London.  They had to try and remember to include the five Ws, time connectives, conjunctions and exciting vocabulary.  The children also got to play the Great Fire of London online game.
Christmas has arrived, the Christmas door is now decorated, cards made and now the classroom elves need to do their job! Rose Lee
