In Year 4 Enrichment they have been creating a river for their wordless book inspired by Aaron Becker’s award-winning book ‘The Tree and the River’. Emilia and Tate worked hard this week preparing some new books for cataloguing by adding barcodes, address labels, genre stickers, and stamps. Catherine Duncumb
Tamsin has spent her off-games sessions making a poster for the library. Firstly she counted all the different animals represented in story books within the Animal genre. She then made a poster so that other people can find any animal books they might be looking for. Catherine Duncumb

Year 4 had a wonderful trip to Knole House to consolidate their learning on the Tudors. The children immersed themselves in a range of hands‑on experiences such as exploring genuine Tudor artefacts, discovering local wildlife, calculating the age of ancient trees and even trying on Tudor costumes.
Touring the magnificent Knole House was a great way to bring the Tudor period to life, providing a valuable extension to their learning beyond the classroom.
It was a thoroughly educational and informative day, and our pupils represented the school with great interest throughout.
