In Year 4 this week we have been looking at different types of settlements and identifying them on an OS map. Here we could find our town Tunbridge Wells and then our school. Some of us could even spot our house! The map skills are coming along nicely 😊 Libby Gorin
Year 4 have been very busy this week in DT. James Murray
Year 4 had a wonderful trip to Knole House to consolidate their learning on the Tudors. The children immersed themselves in a range of hands‑on experiences such as exploring genuine Tudor artefacts, discovering local wildlife, calculating the age of ancient trees and even trying on Tudor costumes.
Touring the magnificent Knole House was a great way to bring the Tudor period to life, providing a valuable extension to their learning beyond the classroom.
It was a thoroughly educational and informative day, and our pupils represented the school with great interest throughout.
