Herstmonceux Science Observatory

Year 2 had an amazing time on their trip to Herstomonceux Science Observatory.  They learnt how to build truss bridges, working collaboratively to make strong structures.  They watched an exciting show about Newton’s Laws of Motion.  The highlight of the day was firing small rockets into the air and the chair of doom where we learnt that you could sit on a chair covered in nails without getting hurt.
