Year 4 have started their Enrichment programme, and we have seen some great thinking and team work in our two STEM activities. One group were challenged with designing a tin foil boat that would carry the most 2p coins, without sinking whilst the second group created a light show using torches and prisms whilst exploring reflection and refraction of light. ✨Primary Maths Challenge 2025 ➗
Children in Years 5 and 6, with participation from Year 4 pupils too, competed in the Nationwide Primary Maths Challenge, aimed at Years 5 and 6.
The children displayed excellent problem-solving skills as they tackled challenging questions. Across the year groups, the children achieved 12 Gold, 28 Silver and 40 Bronze certificates, including 1 Silver and 6 Bronze in Year 4.
