Our new House Leaders ran their House meetings this week with great skill and professionalism. Important topics were discussed as to which charities our Houses would support and what events could be organised to support these charities. They also showed pictures of countries they visited as part of European Day of Languages. Ash had the privilege to be taught Italian by teacher Fernando! Well done to all.
Year 4 had a wonderful trip to Knole House to consolidate their learning on the Tudors. The children immersed themselves in a range of hands‑on experiences such as exploring genuine Tudor artefacts, discovering local wildlife, calculating the age of ancient trees and even trying on Tudor costumes.
Touring the magnificent Knole House was a great way to bring the Tudor period to life, providing a valuable extension to their learning beyond the classroom.
It was a thoroughly educational and informative day, and our pupils represented the school with great interest throughout.
