Year 7 PGL Trip

Year 7 have had an amazing three days at the PGL centre in Hindhead. The weather was fantastic and the pupils were treated to a range of wonderfully challenging activities aimed at developing teamwork, resilience and kindness. Highlights of the trip included the giant swing and laser tag, with my personal favourite being watching the children collaborating so brilliantly on the Jacob’s Ladder challenge. Well done Year 7, you were outstanding and a pleasure to take away.

Dragons Den

Year 7 returned to the Pre Prep to test out their Dragon Den designs of a Lego version of Tic Tac Toe. Last week they created their game with farm animals and fruits as well as designing the board to play on – all made from Lego. Trixie, Pelumi, Jack, Zachary and Henry spent the enrichment session with Year 1 and 2 pupils and had lots of fun chatting with the pupils and playing their game. Next week they will put together their presentation which will be pitched to the Holmewood Dragons! Katie Seecharan
