Everyone, including Magnus, has been raising awareness this week of the Power for Good - the power each of us has to make a difference in the lives of others.
Through assemblies, pupil discussions, and creative activities we have been reminding each other that small acts of kindness have a big impact, and that when we use our power for good, we make the world a better and kinder place.
Highlights from Anti-Bullying Week:
🟢Odd Socks Day celebrated what makes each of us unique.
🔵Pupil librarians created posters of inspiring book characters who use their strengths for positive outcomes.
🔴Pupils designed imaginative wands to help them channel their Power for Good, filling the Learning Hub with creativity and magic.
🟠The wonderful Maddie taught pupils a famous Maori song which emphasises the importance of standing together and supporting each other
🟣Pupils boosted their endorphins by cycling and recorded uplifting messages to spread positivity.

⭐News from Reception ⭐
RSS continue to be `busy bees` in the class. 😊 On Monday we celebrated how are all different by wearing odd socks.
They proudly wore their poppies for the Remembrance ceremony and managed to stand very still and quietly.
In Phonics we are working hard to segment and blend sounds to read simple words to help with our reading.
The children drew on their experience of watching the fireworks last week to make their own firework pictures using different types of lines - lots of amazing fireworks!
The challenge this week was learning to use a mouse and log on using a username and a password in the computing suite. Its amazing how many of them thought they could use the screen as a touch screen 😊
