Alumni news – Rifle Shooting Success
Thomas first found his love of shooting at Holmewood House which he attended for 10 years until 2016 when he moved on to Lancing College. Whilst at Holmewood, Thomas represented England in the Prep School Rifle Association national match in Year 7 and was Captain of Shooting in Year 8.
Thomas was selected to the England Lions’ development squad in 2023. He has represented Kent and Sussex at senior county level and is proud to have added to opportunities to represent his country in national and international competition with his latest selection to the GBU21 team for fullbore. He has three previous caps for GB representation at U21 in smallbore and two previous caps for fullbore (GBU17 and GBU18 – The Athelings).
Although the GBU21 Team have some sponsorship, Thomas needs to raise funds to participate in the World Championships which would go towards travel, accommodation, training expenses and competition fees.
