🏅 Netball Highlights ⭐
Netball has wrapped up for the term as we look ahead to football, and what a great season it’s been. Lots of great fixtures, plenty of progress and lots to build on for next year.
Highlights from this week include:
U11Bs enjoyed a tournament at St Michael`s Prep School, winning four games and drawing one to top their group. They then went on to win their semi final before narrowly losing the final 2–4, finishing as runners up overall. A fantastic effort. Their coach said "across the matches, there was clear improvement, particularly in running forward to receive the ball and passing accurately and precisely to each other. Their positive attitude and consistent effort were evident in every match. Great job girls!"
U10As had a fantastic afternoon at the Wally Hall Tournament, finishing with a close 3–2 win against the hosts. Some brilliant defending and lovely team play throughout, plus lots of accurate, long range shots scored from the shooters.
U9As took part in their annual tournament at Sevenoaks School, facing Granville School, Alleyn`s School, Solefield School, St Michael’s and Kent College Pembury. It was a fun, busy afternoon and a really valuable first tournament experience for the girls.
A really positive way to finish the season. Well done to everyone involved!

🐾 Ralph, the Cavapoo 🐾
Every evening when the front door opens, Ralph races to claim his corner spot on the common room sofa. From this throne, he supervises homework, adjudicates film debates, and offers a reassuring paw to anyone missing home.
Ralph has perfected the art of being exactly where he’s needed: beside a new boarder on their first nervous night, mysteriously appearing whenever snacks are opened, or simply flopped across someone’s feet during a phone call home with parents.
One of six dogs at Holmewood, Ralph is the only one who lives in boarding, and he has learnt from the best; equal parts comfort blanket, comedy act, and professional sofa-tester.
Give Ralph a like and vote him the People’s Choice winner in the BSA Brufts Awards!
