Mrs Ruth O’Sullivan spoke to pupils about an inspiring woman, called Misty Copeland, who has become the first ever African-American Principal ballet dancer. Her message was looking at how it is possible to make a change and achieve great things.
The school is buzzing this morning after a brilliant Year 7 and 8 evening. Our oldest pupils shone as they welcomed families, proudly shared their work and impressively spoke with confidence and clarity. The standard was outstanding.
It was a pleasure to host James Priory, Head of @tonbridge.school, and Jesse Elzinga, Head of @sevenoaksschooluk, who both spoke about the independence, confidence and intellectual maturity that pupils gain by staying at prep school through to Year 9. James summed it up perfectly when he told parents "your children are extremely lucky to be here for Years 7 & 8. Holmewood really is an outstanding prep school".
