Hire Our Facilities

Holmewood House School benefits from state-of-the-art facilities including Hockey Astro, Netball / Tennis Courts, and Swimming Pool. The facilities allow us to provide students with a full range of sporting activities within extra-curricular activities and within the curriculum.

Additionally, the outstanding school facilities are used extensively by the school and local community. We have a diverse portfolio of clubs and activities running every evening and during the weekend.

Facilities include: Art Studio, Boardroom, Classrooms, Cricket Pitch, Dance Studio, DT Room, Digital Innovation Lab, Grass Pitch, Hockey Astro, Lake, Theatre, Learning Hub, Netball / Tennis Courts, Orangery, Main Hall, Dining Room, Science Lab, Sports Hall, Squash Courts, and Swimming Pool.

Our lettings are open 7 days a week with extended opening hours during school holidays. There is ample parking available onsite and our friendly staff are always available to help.

Residential Hires

Set within 32 acres of beautiful Kent countryside, Holmewood House offers an exceptional residential base for summer school providers seeking quality accommodation and outstanding facilities in the South East. Our newly renovated boarding house combines the character of a historic prep school setting with modern amenities designed for comfort, safety and practicality.

Theatre Hire

Holmewood House is incredibly fortunate to have its own Jubilee Theatre, with a 330 seat auditorium. This Theatre provides our pupils with the opportunity to perform in a professional-standard venue, rarely found in a prep-school setting. This exceptional resource enables our pupils to experience the full magic of live performance, from large-scale productions to intimate recitals.

Yes, it’s official. After 37 years at Holmewood, Mrs Porritt, Director of Sport, is retiring.



And what a great way to spend her penultimate week - overseeing the annual girls’ football tournament that she started four years ago. Along with her follow coaches at Rose Hill and Somerhill, Mrs Porritt wanted to give every girl from Years 3-6 the chance to play in an end of season tournament. This year approximately 900 girls from local prep schools played over the two days at the three venues which is incredible.



It was wonderful to see all the girls playing some great football on some perfect Holmewood pitches. Many thanks to the staff from the other hosting schools, to the visiting schools, and to the amazing Mrs Porritt and the team at Holmewood for such a hugely successful couple of days.
