Over three weeks of the Easter holidays, Holmewood welcomed hundreds of children to our holiday courses.
There was something for everyone across our 32 acre site; outdoor sports such as football, cricket and climbing; creative options like printmaking, author for a week and drawing skills; and STEM such as Stop-Motion Animation, Lego Robotics and learning to 3D print. As well as our amazing swim school, Forest School and Playscheme for children aged 3 - 4!
Our summer courses will be running for six weeks over the summer from 13th July to 21st August, and will again offer a broad range of creative and active activities to suit all interests and ages. Watch this space for further information and booking details!

Year 5 had a fantastic day in the Penshurst Woods, learning essential bushcraft skills.
They immersed themselves in a range of fun and challenging activities, including fire lighting and cooking in survival situations. They mastered the fire triangle and learned how to build a strong, reliable heat source. After a tasty outdoor lunch in the beautiful woodland, the children learned how to build a robust shelter and discovered the art of camouflage and concealment.
It was a brilliant opportunity to try new skills, think creatively, and develop problem‑solving abilities that will stay with them hopefully for years to come.
