The Learning Hub 9.1.26

Story Lounge

To support the National Year of Reading Year 3&4 will be able to enjoy the Story Lounge in the Learning Hub every Friday morning break time. Members of staff have volunteered to read from all departments across the Pre-Prep and Prep school. Pupils are invited to listen whilst relaxing on the rugs. Thank you this week goes to Mrs Baker, who read from Mr Gum by Andy Stanton.

Book Binding

The Book Binding Clubs started this week with paper marbling. Despite only using two pigments they all created some unique colourful designs which will be used to create the cover of their bound book. Because the ink is oil based, the surface will take around 7 weeks to dry which is why this is the first task.
