Helping find Destination Schools for your children

When it comes to the difficult choices regarding senior school at the ages of 11 or 13, we are here to support parents in finding the right senior school for their child. We suggest that this journey begins in the Autumn Term of Year 5 and the school will provide presentations and workshops to parents at this stage to support them in their decision making. It is absolutely imperative that parents and the school work together in identifying the right school for each child and, once a school has been identified, the school will support the child and parents through the journey to entry.

At any point in your child’s education at Holmewood House you are very welcome to meet with the Head to discuss future schools.

Holmewood children move on to many of the major Independent Public Schools.  Over the last 5 years, Holmewood House pupils have moved onto the following Senior Schools:

  • Ardingly
  • Bede’s
  • Benenden
