Hire Our Facilities

Holmewood House School benefits from state-of-the-art facilities including Hockey Astro, Netball / Tennis Courts, and Swimming Pool. The facilities allow us to provide students with a full range of sporting activities within extra-curricular activities and within the curriculum.

Additionally, the outstanding school facilities are used extensively by the school and local community. We have a diverse portfolio of clubs and activities running every evening and during the weekend.

Facilities include: Art Studio, Boardroom, Classrooms, Cricket Pitch, Dance Studio, DT Room, Digital Innovation Lab, Grass Pitch, Hockey Astro, Lake, Theatre, Learning Hub, Netball / Tennis Courts, Orangery, Main Hall, Dining Room, Science Lab, Sports Hall, Squash Courts, and Swimming Pool.

Our lettings are open 7 days a week with extended opening hours during school holidays. There is ample parking available onsite and our friendly staff are always available to help.

Residential Hires

Set within 32 acres of beautiful Kent countryside, Holmewood House offers an exceptional residential base for summer school providers seeking quality accommodation and outstanding facilities in the South East. Our newly renovated boarding house combines the character of a historic prep school setting with modern amenities designed for comfort, safety and practicality.

Esther - Good Future Foundation - AI Summer School

Holmewood House School proved to be a great setting for our AI Summer School 2026. It's spacious, welcoming and provides the perfect environment for both focused learning and team building across our student cohort.
The classroom, computer labs, the school hall and the library are comfortable and well-equipped spaces for our lessons and workshops. And the grounds and communal areas provide an important space for students to connect and enjoy a full social programme in the evenings. The catering team deserves a special mention too. Meals were varied, plentiful and very well-suited to a busy group of teenagers.
A particular thank you goes to Caolán, Isobel and Madeleine, whose behind-the-scenes coordination made the entire week run seamlessly. Everyone felt supported and well looked after from arrival to departure.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Holmewood House to any organisation looking to deliver a residential educational programme!

Dear Caolán and the Holmewood House Team,
Thank you so much for having us on our recent August project - we were looked after incredibly well, and we are so grateful for your time, energy and care.
Special thanks to Caolán, Angus, James and Richard - but everyone we worked with or spoke to were incredible. The new boarding houses were a real treat to get to stay in so comfortable, homely and the food was incredible - Richard is a genius. Caolán continues to be the best person we have worked with from a venue on a project and we look forward to hopefully working with him again in the future.
Thank you so much for all of your help and for getting us in at such last minute. We are very excited about the sending date requests to hopefully come back in 2028 (Caolán I will be in touch) and thank you again to the team for their kindness and patience with us.

Theatre Hire

Holmewood House is incredibly fortunate to have its own Jubilee Theatre, with a 330 seat auditorium. This Theatre provides our pupils with the opportunity to perform in a professional-standard venue, rarely found in a prep-school setting. This exceptional resource enables our pupils to experience the full magic of live performance, from large-scale productions to intimate recitals.

The comments from prospective families say it all.

On Friday, our Open Morning was a wonderful celebration of everything that makes Holmewood so special. The grounds were looking beautiful, families had the chance to meet staff from across the school, and our Year 8 pupils were outstanding ambassadors.
So many visitors commented on their confidence, warmth and enthusiasm and the pride with which they talked about Holmewood.

A huge thank you to the Year 8 guides, musicians (including one of our talented singers whose voice you can hear), speaker Antonia and our parent volunteers for helping us showcase the very best of Holmewood. We were delighted to welcome so many families (including three old Holmewoodians) and are so grateful to everyone who helped make the morning such a success.

Open Mornings are always a wonderful reminder of what makes the Holmewood community so special.
