Year 7 Entry to Holmewood

We are able to admit a number of pupils into the senior part of the school for Years 7 and 8, where all pupils follow the two year Common Entrance programme of study, which is the standard entrance examination route to the senior independent schools. Roughly two thirds of the pupils will sit the Common Entrance exams, while one third of the year group prepares for highly competitive Scholarship exams to these schools. Read more...

On the 14th October Holmewood hosted our inaugural debating competition against St Ronan’s and Malborough House. The standard of debating was very high and a good time was had by all. Two teams from Holmewood ventured over to Yardley Court for the annual Maths challenge on a bitterly cold afternoon.
