LAMDA Teacher (Part Time)September 2018

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Holmewood House School for a part-time LAMDA teacher working two and a half days per week. A background training in drama / theatre arts is required and you should be well acquainted with the LAMDA syllabus.
You will be required to run both individual and group sessions using your own expertise and experience to ensure that the children are having fun whilst learning various vocal and performance techniques, increasing in confidence and engaging creatively whilst working towards yearly examinations in Acting, Speaking Verse & Prose and Reading for Performance.
The successful candidate will be resilient, flexible and adaptable. S/he will demonstrate empathy with student, their learning needs and LAMDA’s artistic vision.  Strong communication skills are essential.

Chef / CookAugust / September 2018

We are looking for an experienced cook to join our well recognised and motivated catering team to support our excellent provision of high quality catering to pupils and staff. Salary will be discussed at interview and depend on experience and hours worked.

The core responsibility of this role will be in leading the provision of weekend catering to our small number of full boarders. This will require an individual who can be relied on to use their initiative in taking decisions quickly, on some occasions being expected to lead shifts or run them on their own. There will also be shifts with the main team during some of the working week.
