Year 1’s have been experimenting with our iPads this week, learning how to take a video. They are able to use the front and back camera’s, find the video setting and record themselves or record a friend. Most children wanted to talk about our Hever Castle trip. It was great fun to see how the children enjoyed looking at their own image, and watching back the videos they managed to take. We will soon be learning some basic video and photo editing skills.
In science the children have been building with a range of materials. They needed to find a strong enough material to build a bridge that would hold the weight of a water bottle. We discovered that plastic, wood were strong enough, but playdough and paper were not suitable to make a strong bridge. Year 1 Team
