SAVE THE GLACIERS – From AI and rapped for the class by Joel Arishe (Yr 6)

Yo, up in the mountains, where the cold winds blow, There’s a frozen world, hidden under snow. Glaciers glide, ancient rivers of ice, Movin’ through the ages, slow and precise.

The Arctic and Antarctic, icy realms so vast, Glacial giants, memories of the past. Carvin’ through valleys, leavin’ trails of their might, With the power of ice, they shape the land right.

Glaciers, the ancient ice sculptors, Shapin’ the world, takin’ us on tours, Majestic and cool, a natural force, Flowin’ through time, on their frozen course.

From the peaks to the seas, they slide and glide, Wearin’ down mountains, changin’ Earth’s stride. Erosion and deposition, the glacier’s game, They’re a testament to time, never the same.

In a warming world, they start to retreat, A sign of the change, makin’ history repeat. Guardians of fresh water, holdin’ life in their grasp, We gotta protect ’em, if we want ’em to last.

Glaciers, the ancient ice sculptors, Shapin’ the world, takin’ us on tours, Majestic and cool, a natural force, Flowin’ through time, on their frozen course.

Listen to their story, etched in every crack, Glaciers speak of climate, and the way we act. A call to action, to keep the ice intact, For the future of our planet, we can’t turn our back.

Glaciers, the ancient ice sculptors, Shapin’ the world, takin’ us on tours, Majestic and cool, a natural force, Flowin’ through time, on their frozen course.

So let’s raise our voices, for the glaciers’ song, Preserve their legacy, make it last long. From the peaks to the seas, let the message be clear, Protect the glaciers, year after year.
