Greenpower Event
Last Friday, our Year 6, 7 and 8 members of the Greenpower Club had an unforgettable experience when the CEO, Barnabas Shelbourne, visited Holmewood. He brought with him one of the completed cars that our club is working hard to build.
After a brief presentation from Barnabas, four lucky children from the club got to test drive the car around the astro. The excitement was palpable as the children saw their hard work and vision come to life right before their eyes.
Greenpower isn’t just about building cars – it’s about bringing together a wide range of skills. From science, technology, engineering and maths, to marketing, finance, and design. The children are learning to work across different disciplines to ensure success and how to collaborate and work as a team to achieve their end goal.
This incredible experience was a great way for them to see what their hard work could produce and spurred the children on to achieve the vision for their own car. Thanks Barnabas for a great visit!
