Holiday Activities

Holmewood House School has been running holiday courses since 1998. We aim to offer a wide variety of courses for children aged 5-12 in a secure and relaxed environment, where children can explore new challenges or enjoy their favourite activities.

Our facilities are among the best of any Prep School, with 30 acres of beautiful grounds, a magnificent sports hall, 25m swimming pool, Jubilee Theatre, athletics track and artificial grass pitch, tennis courts and squash courts, fully equipped Art and DT Rooms, and acres of playing fields.

Many children return year after year, making new friends and looking forward to seeing familiar faces from previous courses. We always look forward to welcoming you back or meeting you for the first time.

We set a limit on the numbers able to attend each course, so book early to secure a place. We employ talented, experienced, enthusiastic staff and assistants who are all suitably qualified and DBS checked.

Format for the day for all Holiday Courses

10.00 Children dropped off in the Jubilee Theatre to register for morning with Course Instructors
10.00-11.00 Morning Course Session 1
11.00-11.30 Break time back in the Jubilee Theatre
11.30-12.30 Morning Course Session 2
12:30 Children doing morning only courses picked up from Jubilee Theatre
12.30-13.30 Lunch in school dining hall
13.30 Registration for afternoon with Course Instructors in the Jubilee
13.30-14.30 Afternoon Course Session 1
14.30-15.00 Break time back in the Jubilee Theatre
15.00-16.00 Afternoon Course Session 2
16.00 Course Instructors bring children back to the Theatre for pick up
